What’s up students! The school year is finally coming to end and you will all get that long awaited summer vacation you’ve been dreaming of. No more getting up early to catch a bus or drive to school, NO MORE Homework, tests, or quizzes for the next few months. I remember when I was teaching I was looking forward to vacation just as much as my students so believe me when I tell you that your teachers also need a nice little break. Summer vacation is a very fun and exciting time, and although I agree that we all need a little R &R (rest and relaxation) we also have to be careful not lose our inspiration over the summer. Summer vacation provides us with some extra time so why not put it to good use. Why not use this summer to pick up an activity like swimming, bowling, etc. or read that book you’ve been wanting to read but never had the time. How about getting a job to save up some extra spending money to buy something you’ve been wanting to buy for awhile. I’m sure you all get my point but here’s my homework assignment for you…Find someone or something for inspiration this summer, use it to motivate you to try a new activity, and tell me about it.
