The Countdown Is On!

Hey All! Well, Now or Never 09 is just around the corner and I am very excited. Its one of the biggest events of the summer and has a lot of variety for everyone. This year in place of the event’s fashion fest I am hosting my first annual Real Talk Live for girls. This is gonna be amazing and a great platform for ladies to come and talk about some of the things that are most important to them. We are going to have so much fun and I look forward to hanging with all the ladies.

Sorry It’s Been So Long

Hello all! It has been quite a long time since I last wrote. But everything is going great! I just wanted to drop a little note to encourage you to finish this school year strong even if you are tired and ready to quit. It will pay off in the end. I promise. Also, I want to invite you all to come out to our second GLUE Session of the summer on June 16. We will be at Skatezone having a blast! Michael and I would love to see you.

What Inspires You?

What’s up students!  The school year is finally coming to end and you will all get that long awaited summer vacation you’ve been dreaming of.  No more getting up early to catch a bus or drive to school, NO MORE Homework, tests, or quizzes for the next few months.  I remember when I was teaching I was looking forward to vacation  just as much as my students so believe me when I tell you that your teachers also need a nice little break.  Summer vacation is a very fun and exciting time, and although I agree that we all need a little R &R (rest and relaxation) we also have to be careful not lose our inspiration over the summer.   Summer vacation provides us with some extra time so why not put it to good use.  Why not use this summer to pick up an activity like swimming, bowling, etc. or read that book you’ve been wanting to read but never had the time.  How about getting a job to save up some extra spending money to buy something you’ve been wanting to buy for awhile.  I’m sure you all get my point but here’s my homework assignment for you…Find someone or something for inspiration this summer, use it to motivate you to try a new activity, and tell me about it.  Look forward to hearing from you.
